History
Delmar is a former site of a bustling railroad depot which closed
down when the lines discontinued. Many passengers saw their way
through Delmar on rail trips. The old Depot has been restored and
is now open to visitors to learn more about Delmar's tie to the
rails.
Other
Delmar is a growing community, striving everyday to beautify the
community. The Delmar Development Corporation has been the main
thrust behind the Depot restoration and development of Norton Park.
A special thanks to the city clerk for providing
information and photos to complete this community section.
